The American Academy of Hospitality Sciences (AAHS) has honoured The Nikki Beach Resort and Spa @ the Pearl, Qatar with a prestigious International AAA 5 Star Diamond Award for Best Design for a Boutique Beach Resort in the Middle East.
Designed by theSingapore-based ECO ID Architects with interior design by Gatserelia Design, The Nikki Beach Resort & Spa @ the Pearl is a $45 million boutique beachfront resort with 47 villas and spa suites. Located in Qatar, the Nikki Beach development will include Satine, a pan Asian specialty restaurant, NikkiSpa by Espa, Envy, the Ultra VIP lounge and champagne bar, a signature Nikki Beach Club with private plunge pools, a Tone Fitness Center, and other amenities.
The new Nikki Beach Resort and Spa @ The Pearl, a Riviera-style island in the Persian Gulf, is scheduled to open in June 2012. A multi-phase, mixed-use development with 10 themed districts in Doha, the capital of Qatar, The Pearl is the first international real estate venture in the country.
The American Academy of Hospitality Sciences bestows its International Star Diamond Award to five- and six-star quality hotels, spas, golf courses, restaurants, chefs, destinations, airlines, cruise lines and products. The award represents “exceptional achievement and quality in the hospitality and luxury services industries worldwide.”
