At Coreo, the health and wellbeing of our associates, customers, and community is our top priority.

As the response to the COVID-19 virus continues to evolve and to fulfill our service based obligations towards Public Health, we have taken certain preventative measures and precautions to safeguard our work environment, employees and our clients highlighted within this article. We are encouraging live online showings and virtual tours allowing clients to search for a property from a safe environment of their choice to maintain “Stay At Home” advisories by The Ministry of Public Health in Qatar. We are offering online property live tours using Zoom, FaceTime, Google, WhatsApp or any other preferred video application on behalf of our clients as a new initiative to limit in-person showings.

PREVENTATIVE MEASURES

Office safety measures to help protect our associates and others:

• Washing hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Alcohol-based hand sanitizer can be used as an alternative when water and soap is not available.
• Keeping a safety tool kit during property showings for our associates and clients.
• Coreo provides each employee with a bag of soap, sanitizer, tissue, and gloves ready to use as a safety tool kit while avoiding touching the eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
• Practicing social distancing by staying away from crowded places, avoiding group gatherings, and maintaining a distance (approximately 2 meters or 6 feet) from others when possible.
• Avoiding close contact with anyone who is sick.
• Maintaining good housekeeping practices in the office by cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched objects and surfaces.
• Discouraging the use of other employees’ phones, desks, offices, or other work tools and equipment, when possible.
• Keeping tissues handily available to cover the mouth or nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing, or coughing or sneezing into your sleeve.

COVID-19 – PROPERTY CONSULTANT PROTOCOLS

It is now the policy of our brokerage that before meeting with any client or partner that our Property Consultants ask the following questions of their clients as precautionary measures for the safety of ourselves and our clients.

• Are you currently ill?
• Have you been in a gathering of 20 or more people?
• Have you been exposed to anyone with COVID-19?

If the answer is yes to any of these questions, showings or meetings should be postponed until the potential incubation period is over.

If the answer is no for all of these questions, in-person showings should be scheduled with the following precautions: 

• We will provide our clients with gloves, sanitizer and sanitizing wipes when appropriate during in-person showings. 
• We recommend our clients not to touch anything in the home as a precautionary measure. We will provide our clients with sanitizing wipes if they have touched any surface.
• Only a single consultant and no more than two other individuals are to be in a property at the same time during a showing. If other persons are necessary for a showing, we recommend them waiting outside or in their vehicles in order to observe the social distancing guidelines.
• To practice social distancing, we recommend that it is best that clients travel in their own vehicles when possible and maintain a distance of 2 meters (6 feet) away during showings.
