Brand New Retail Units Opening in The Pearl Qatar

Qatar’s luxurious urban development The Pearl Qatar in the Middle East recently signed a contract with Al Siddiqi Holding to open eight top restaurant brands including Italian Restaurant, Biella and high end fashion outlets in the Porto Arabia and Medina Centrale districts in The Pearl Qatar.

As part of its portfolio, Al Siddiqi Holding has already opened a branch of The Noodle House in Porto Arabia. The agreement will also see the opening of Lord of The Wings restaurant in the Medina Centrale district, a great place for families to dine in. The Lebanese restaurant, Wafi Gourmet will also be opening in The Pearl Qatar.

 

The holding group plans to introduce the first Tike, Turkish International Restaurants franchise in Qatar, known for its traditional grilled chicken and lamb kebabs. Lebanese restaurant Wafi Gourmet will also be opening in The Pearl Qatar.

 

There are also plans for a number of fashion and hospitality brands opening in The Pearl Qatar, such as unisex fashion outlet, Frankie Garage, as well as Migato, a shoes and leather store. The first branch of KAS Australia, a stylish home furnishing brand will also be opening in The Pearl Qatar. The retail fashion outlets will be located in Porto Arabia.

 

The agreement was signed by Ehab Kamel, General Manager for Retail Leasing in The Pearl Qatar and Aly Delawar, Board Member of Al Siddiqi Holding. Commenting on the deal, Ehab Kamel said, “The agreement is in line with our strategy of attracting new international brands to the island, essentially diversifying the shopping and dining experiences. It is aimed at finding the most important business partners who have a strong balance sheet and distinctive trademarks.”

 

He also added “Our endeavour at the moment is to focus on providing all what we had promised to our investors and residents, in terms of investment returns and services in this extraordinary Island,”

 

“With commercial spaces of about two million sq ft ready at Porto Arabia and Medina Centrale, we will aggressively pursue our expansion plans by attracting leading global brands to open outlets here,” stated Kamel.

 

Aly Delawar of Siddiqi Holding described The Pearl Qatar as a unique and elegant shopping destination, stating “We are confident that our global series of brands will contribute to the Island’s reputation as a destination for tourists and shoppers alike.”

 

Among other recently signed deals, Blue Salon will be facilitating in the opening of several retail outlets in The Pearl Qatar such as Blue Salon Kids, Nespresso, Ethan Allen, Samsung, Mimisol, Toys 4 Me, Pressto, Gina, Kartell, and Oasis of Soul. The agreement was signed between the acting CEO of UDC, Badr Al Meer, and the Vice Chairman of Blue Salon Nabil Abu Issa.

 

Al Meer said, “The Pearl-Qatar has succeeded in attracting some of the world’s leading brands by virtue of special environment at the iconic Island, which combines fun shopping on the waterfront, the presence of high-end marinas, and also the elegant design of the shops that have been inspired by Italian, Spanish and Moroccan architecture.”

 

“With more unique shops and restaurants, The Pearl-Qatar features high-quality merchandise, world-class food and the best in fashion and offers exceptional shopping, extraordinary dining and exhilarating experience for all ages. The presence of these global brands at The Pearl-Qatar, one of the best projects in the region, will further raise the profile of the island,” he added.

 

With the above newly signed deals, many more leading international brands are set to follow suit with the opening of new retail units in The Pearl Qatar.
