The U.S. Embassy, the American Chamber of Commerce in Doha, Msheireb Properties, and American Institute of Architects Middle East Chapter, co-hosted a Business Development Seminar yesterday at the Msheireb Enrichment Centre.

The seminar’s aim was to introduce American architectural and engineering firms to key decision-makers in the Qatari infrastructure and real estate market.

The U.S. Ambassador to Qatar, Susan L. Ziadeh, kicked off the day-long seminar hailing the vast potential for U.S. – Qatari partnership in infrastructure development.

Ambassador Ziadeh called Qatar an ideal venue for such a meeting of minds, “I know today will result in lasting partnerships between American firms and our Qatari hosts. We are very proud to support Qatar in achieving their ambitious goals by providing quality American products, services, and know-how for this important and historic endeavor.”

Msheireb Properties, Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’, Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company, and the Qatar 2022 Supreme Committee were among the agencies providing exclusive and comprehensive briefings for the American businessmen and women representing 40 American firms. Ambassador Ziadeh thanked Msheireb Properties for providing the venue.

The visitors were given a guided tour of Msheireb Enrichment Centre which serves as a link between Qatar’s rich heritage and its promising future, providing an insight into Msheireb Properties’ vision for the redevelopment of Msheireb Downtown Doha; historically the commercial hub of Doha.

Msheireb Properties works as an advocate of Qatar Foundation’s aspirations and ideals which will create cutting edge urban living concepts that build on traditional Qatari architecture and design and contribute to the social and cultural heritage of Doha.
